03Mar01..... dsp_K homepage moved to dsp-k.sourceforge.net/. (Please note sourceforge project name setup didn't allow the underscore or preserve case in dsp_K, so a minus is used instead when accessing through sourceforge, but the actual project name remains unchanged.)

12Dec00..... dsp_K now features on Jinnu Magno's dsplinks page. Software shall shortly be re-hosted on the popular Open Source sourceforge site, for which the license has been accepted as open source. This also guarantees dsp_K's persistence on the Internet.

10Nov00..... dsp_K now features on the Swiss open systems user group page. (Most dsp_K development is currently done in Zurich.)

25Apr00.....Version 0.5.5 dspEK makes it easier to build for the different 2106x family members and corrects bugs with the PIT timer. Also added some support for nested interrupts (caveat documented).

02Apr00.....Version 0.5.4 dspEK is released to support the latest VDSP 4.1.2 (4.1 patch level 2) toolset. In addition to register/stack assignment, the new simulator trapped a bug in a patch which failed to show up with the older simulator.

22Mar00.....Version 0.5.3 dspEK is released to support the newer VDSP 4.1.n toolset in addition to its 4.0.1 predecessor.

11Mar00.....The 0.5.2 dspEK software has been released under license 0.5. This software release shall be announced in the newsgroup comp.dsp. The aim of releasing dspEK alone is to get the core task switcher and scheduler sorted, before releasing the more complex dspMK which uses a similar core.
